Lately, I haven’t felt like myself and I have been struggling with it because I couldn’t figure out what it was. Then I realized I have been shedding things left and right which I was very aware of, but what I didn’t realize was that some of the things came with labels.
Labels that I identified with and my ego was spinning to look for a new label. Labels are easy for our brains because it provides a quick response and the brain feels safe in reacting because then it can follow a pattern. But, those new labels weren’t ones I had previously identified with and ones I had attached unfavorable meanings to without even realizing it.
