Where have you been choosing the “good girl” route to keep others happy?
Just writing this is a trigger for me because sometimes it feels easier to do the thing I don’t want to do to make others happy or feel more comfortable at my own expense.
But, I believe there is a fine line between compromising & crossing boundaries… all the best relationships take some level of compromise and it is why self-awareness is so fucking powerful. When we are in tune with ourselves these two feelings are different and then you can tell the difference between shrinking to meet someone else’s expectations or standing in your Big B!tch energy and making a conscious choice to compromise.
