Hey, I'm Katie - stylist, podcaster, mom, and lipstick lover. I'm on a mission to help women everywhere find their own unstoppable style.
Have you been struggling to try some of the latest jeans styles?
It’s hard to let those skinny jeans go after 10 long years of choosing them, but I will give you everything you need to make the switch easier. Keep reading to discover the most flattering silhouettes for your body shape and my hottest style tips to make these new looks easy to wear!
Wide-Leg Jeans
HOURGLASS, RHUBARB & STRAWBERRY
Pair them with heels, wedge boots, or flats. They should brush the top of the foot when worn with flats and not drag for a more polished look.
Stylist Tip: Wide-leg jeans can fit tightly around your hips and butt creating a flat booty or extra gapping. Be sure to shop for your shape.

Flare Jeans
HOURGLASS, PEAR, RHUBARB & STRAWBERRY
Flares pack a big punch so if you have an hourglass body shape don’t forget to balance your look with the right shirt.
Chunky loafers, platform wedges, or retro sneakers will be your secret weapon to rocking your new flares with confidence.
Stylist Tip: If you are petite opt for a pair of cropped flares. If you desire a put-together look your flares should sit flat atop your foot or hint at brushing the ground in your platforms.

Straight Leg Jeans
RHUBARB & APPLE
Straight legs begin to loosen right above the knee as opposed to flares that slim all the way to below the knee.
Your ankle is the star of the show when rocking straight-leg jeans. Ensure your hemline hits right at the ankle as shown or if paired with booties that the jeans cover the top of the boot.
Stylist Tip: If you are petite or have had a recent weight gain then choose a pair of flares instead that will be more fitted throughout the leg.

Boyfriend Jeans
RHUBARB & APPLE
Boyfriend jeans are the ultimate “slouchy jean”. With a fit that is loose around the hips and waist, they can give the lived-in look that can be dressed up with your most comfortable heels and blazer.
Can also be paired with your favorite fashion sneakers, ankle boots, or ballet flats.
Stylist Tip: Showing a little ankle with a small cuff will take your look from comfy to chic in less than 5 seconds.

Bootcut Jeans
PEAR, HOURGLASS, STRAWBERRY & APPLE
If you are not really into flares but require a more fitted look to lengthen your body then choose a bootcut jean style.
These jeans style well with mid-calf booties, western-style boots, or a great pair of mules.
Stylist Tip: Do you want to appear taller? Pair these jeans with a pointy-toe mule or boot.
